Tim Arel is a property management specialist with many years of experience in all aspects of this increasingly complex discipline. When Tim Arel enrolled in St. Anselm College, he studied economics. He enjoyed the complexities of economic principles and thought of becoming an economist professor. But he realized that he was interested in much more than economics. He had a passion for communication and was soon working as the publisher of the St. Anselm Crier, the campus newspaper. Tim was also an active member, Pi Gamma Mu, the International Social Science Honor Society. His interest in the social sciences perked his interest in law and after graduation from St. Anselm, he attended law school at Franklin Pierce Law Center.
After practicing law for a time, Tim Arel realized that his interests extended far beyond legal practice. He enjoyed the challenges of real estate investing, financial control; marketing and accounting and negotiating terms and conditions for complex contracts. Tim was also interested in human resources; training, state and federal regulation compliance. Most of all he relished he challenge of dealing with people in a way that was non adversarial an cooperative.
He left the law and took a job as an executive in a grounds maintenance company. Committed to learn all that he could about real estate management, he took courses in Association Management and Community Associations and became certified in each.
He continued his career in property management with a series of firms while he pursued his interest in public by joining a number of local boards and committees. Tim Arel presently is the Director of Property Management, for the North Point Property Management.
In this position Tim Arel oversees all aspects of property management for North Point and is responsible for staff oversight and training, marketing, business development and corporate financial planning.
